Recipe Soto Padang 


Ingredient of  Soto Padang 

how to make soto padang
  • 500 gr beef
  •  1 piece of cow bone sengkel
  •  2 liters of water
  •  2 bay leaves
  •  3 pieces of lime leaves
  •  2 stalks lemongrass, crushed
  •  2 tablespoons seasoning soup ready wet meadow
  •  1 teaspoon beef bouillon powder flavor
 
puree:

  • 8 grains of red onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp pepper granules
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 2 cm galangal
  • 3 cm turmeric, roasted
  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Complement:
  • 100 gr glass noodles, soak until soft, drain
  • Potato patties, chili stew, sliced ​​celery, scallions, and fried onions
  • Lung fried dry and red crackers
  • white rice
 

HOW TO MAKE Soto Padang:

  1. Boiled beef and bone sengkel until tender, remove the meat and drain.
  2. Heat oil, saute ground spices with bay leaves, lime leaves, and ready-made spices until fragrant. Put it in the broth, bring to a boil.  
  3. Add bouillon powder, stir well, remove from heat.
  4. Whole fried beef until browned, remove and cut into cubes, set aside.
  5. Presentation: prepare a bowl, fill it with glass noodles, chunks of meat or lung fried, and cakes. Pour the sauce, sprinkle with fried onions, celery, scallions, and red crackers. Complete with chili stew.
  6. Serve warm.
